Pumpkin Cream Cheese

If you want to give your plain bagels and cream cheese a little pick-me-up, this pumpkin cream cheese recipe is easy and delicious. It only takes a few extra minutes to prepare and is a real breakfast treat.

BASICS:

Makes: 12 oz pumpkin flavored cream cheese
Total time: 10 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

8 oz plain cream cheese
½ cup canned pumpkin
¼ cup brown sugar
1 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
½ tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt

INSTRUCTIONS:

Mix cream cheese and brown sugar (in an electric mixer or by hand is fine).

Add vanilla and continue mixing.

Add the canned pumpkin, salt, and pumpkin spice. Mix until smooth.

Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving (this will give your pumpkin spice cream cheese a more solid consistency).
